that best addresses their self-reported needs. This can be done through several modalities of treatment such as individual, family & couples therapy.
Specialized Youth and Adult Treatment for Victims of Abuse and Trauma
This particular area of clinical expertise places emphasis on presenting issues of abuse (physical, sexual, emotional)and is tailored to meet the client’s emotional and developmental level. A client centered approach is taken toward the development of rapport and the formulation of a treatment plan geared toward healing for the client and their primary caregivers.
Comprehensive Community Based Youth Services (CCBYS)
CCYBS has a crisis intervention component in which CYN provides services to Lake County area police departments dealing with runaway and locked out youth. CYN provides 5 free follow up sessions post crisis resolution and the opportunity for ongoing therapy services at a sliding scale fee.
Child Abuse Prevention through the LIFE Program and Darkness to Light Sexual Abuse Prevention Program
The LIFE Program is a short-term, outreach based program that offers intensive counseling and case management services to families who have been identified as "high risk." Darkness to Light educates adults on steps that can be taken to recognize, prevent and react to child abuse.
EAP Services
We offer confidential, customized, quality, professional, readily accessible employee assistance services. We accomplish this, whenever possible, by providing effective short term, solution-focused therapy directed towards the resolution of life's challenges. If additional or alternative treatment is required, we make collaborative, health-based appropriate referrals. Continuous services are also offered through Lifespan beyond your employers contract. We accept both insurance and fee for services as payment.

Intact Family Services
An intensive case management and counseling program designed to keep at risk families together. Families are referred by DCFS for these intensive services.
Sexting Program for Teens
Based on the current needs of our society, this educational outreach program addresses the dangers and consequences of sexting.
Alternative to Suspension (ATS)
The ATS Program offers assessment, education, counseling and early intervention to students who have been suspended from school for alcohol and drug related violations.
Teen Precept Group
This program offers a unique setting in which teens learn and support each other to get help with specific issues facing their age group.
Child Play Therapy
An interactive therapeutic approach that allows a therapist to assess a child's issues through gams and play when a child has yet to develop the language to communicate verbally.
Adult Group Sessions
Group therapy sessions focused on a variety of issues including such topics as relationship building, parenting, substance abuse and improved communication.
Crisis Intervention
Immediate response program created for emergency situations requiring professional counseling services and meditation.
Faith Based Counseling
Faith based counseling is mental health treatment provided by a licensed master level provider who uses teachings from scripture in combination with professional treatment methods.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
& Team Building (Coming Soon)
This innovative therapy is designed to address mental health and development needs of individuals through equine and human interaction. The sessions will be facilitated by Eagala Certified Therapists.
In addition to individual therapy sessions, we will also be offering EAP Teambuilding Sessions. These teambuilding sessions are perfect for corporate groups and civic organizations.
