Lifespan EAP Offering New Training in 2014

Lifespan EAP is the Employee Assistance Program offered by Community Youth Network. The EAP allows our business clients to offer their employees 6 no cost counseling sessions. In addition to providing counseling services to the employees and their families Lifespan is also available for onsite trainings, crisis management, critical incident debriefings and consultations.

In 2014 Lifespan will begin the process of providing more specialized services to our business clients and their employees. These changes extend to our offered trainings and individual counseling services.

This year all CYN/Lifespan clinicians have been Trauma Certified by the International Association of Trauma Professionals. This certification ensures that the EAP therapists are up to date on the most clinically effective protocols for Trauma Response and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder treatment.

Therapists are also now fully trained on the recent changes made to the DSM 5. CYN is committed to improving the clinical knowledge of staff through regular, ongoing continuing education. Lifespan’s criteria in selecting trainings is ensuring that they are evidence based, accredited and will provide a benefit for clients and staff.
